The Office of the State Registrar of Vital Statistics will be pursuing rulemaking concerning 5 CCR 1006-1, Vital Statistics. Thus, we are
requesting your review and feedback with respect to changes that have been proposed concerning delayed birth registration requirements under 5 CCR 1006-1, Vital Statistics. Please see pages 4-6 on the attached document for the proposed revisions.

We will be requesting a hearing for rule-making next month, with a hearing set for February if approved by the Board of Health. Additional proposed changes will be made and more information will be provided once it is available.
